Our goal is to help men become the kind of men Jesus would be proud of men who refuse to be passive, who take ownership of their responsibilities, who lead with courage, and who look to God as their ultimate reward. 

Paul urged Timothy to pray without wrath or argument (1 Timothy 2:8) and for "the men in every place to pray, holding up holy hands." Paul is making a strong case for men's rights in worship and leadership in the church by saying they should be able to do so without fear of harassment or assault. Put another way, males are crucial to the church's work just as much as women are.
